Over 1,400 Brides-to-be along with their visitors are expected to attend The Liverpool Wedding Show at Aintree Racecourse over Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th January.  As an exhibitor, you will want to ensure that you stand out from the crowd and get the most out of the show.

We’ve put together ten top tips for exhibiting at The Liverpool Wedding Show, follow these and you’ll find the results extremely rewarding!


1. Be In It To Win It
Running a competition, special offer or on-the-day discount will bring added value to your stand.  Make sure you send us all of the details of what you’re planning so we can help you promote it on our Competitions and Special Offers website page and social media channels in the run up to the show.

2. Get With The Program
Each and every Bride-to-be is given a show program on arrival at the show.  Booking a prominent advertising space in the show program will ensure that your name stands out and makes it easy for Brides-to-be to find you on the day. Contact us for your Media Pack.

3. Give Us Your Goodies
All Brides-to-be are treated to a free goody bag on arrival, worth over £20.00 and sponsored by leading on-line retailer Very.co.uk.  1,500 goody bags are made during set up time so please ensure you hand any marketing materials you’d like included in the goody bags to the Bliss team no later than 5pm on Friday 9th January.

4. Tweet, Like, Share and Shout
The more you help us to promote the show, the larger both of our audience becomes.  And, for the exhibitor who Tweets, Shares and Likes information about the show the most will win a bottle of bubbly as a thank you!  Please remember to use the hashtag #TLWS15! Printed flyers, posters and bookmarks are available from Bliss Wedding Shows for you to display in your shops, studios and work places so please contact us if you require any more.

5. Let’s Get Digital
The Liverpool Wedding Show and Bliss Wedding Shows’ websites typically receive over 10,000 unique visitors per month in the run up to the show.  Bliss Wedding Shows currently has 7,135 Facebook likes and 2,446 Twitter followers along with being active on Google+, Instagram and Pinterest.  We currently have 4,835 Brides-to-be on our email marketing campaign database.  A range of digital advertising opportunities are available for exhibitor’s to take advantage of including website banners, newsletter features, solus Eshots, blog and social media mentions. 6. Best In Show
If your stand is well designed, stands out from the crowd and your messages are displayed clearly and creatively, you could win a prize for best dressed small, medium or large stand in your specific category.

7. Make Friends and Influence People
Take time to talk and network with your fellow exhibitors as they could be equally as important as the Brides-to-be.  Remember, Brides-to-be are just one customer with just one date when they’ll require your services, if you’re not available on this date then recommend a fellow exhibitor who might be, and ask them to do the same for you.

8. Follow Your Leads
Data capture is key to your subsequent marketing campaigns after the show.  Collect as many names and contact details as you can and follow up all leads and enquiries immediately, while their ‘hot’ (and to avoid anyone else snapping them up with a great deal before you do).

9.  Smile …
It’s a great ice-breaker!  Brides-to-be and visitors are far more likely to visit your stand if you’re looking friendly and approachable.  Get to know your lead by striking up a conversation, ask lots of questions to establish their requirements and gage their budget.  Offer friendly help, advice and inspiration rather than a cold, hard sell. Also think carefully when setting up your stand, stand back and look at it in the eyes of your visitors; does it look approachable?  Are there tables blocking any access?  A bowl of sweets or a box of chocolates are also great additions to creating a welcoming, friendly stand.

10. Enjoy
The Liverpool Wedding Show’s atmosphere is electric!  Make sure you enjoy yourself and take it all in too!  Catch a fashion show, watch an act in Palm Sugar’s Live Lounge, enjoy a snack or restaurant style meal in the Café Bistro and take five in the chill-out area to recharge your batteries before meeting even more Brides-to-be!
